If you’ve been denied benefits or terminated from SSDI, don’t panic. You have the right to appeal this decision. For the strongest appeal, you can take several key steps:
- Gather all medical evidence for your condition (diagnosis, treatments, medical review appointments)
- Speak with an experienced disability consultant
- Point out any mistakes made in your decision
- Prove your ongoing condition in medical reviews by the SSA
During appeals of benefit terminations, you can still receive disability benefits if you fill out a written request within 10 days of the date on your notice of termination. If you’ve been denied benefits, acting quickly can help get you the benefits you deserve.
